　　Schools are the places where students receive formal education. A sound studyenvironment can contribute to students' satisfactory study performance. To requirestudents to be in school uniforms is part of a school's efforts to create a goodlearning environment.

　　Wearing school uniforms is also seen to offer other benefits to students. Anobvious one is to ease the financial burden for students. Being in school uniformfrom Monday to Friday means that there is almost no need for students to buy manyother clothes to wear. Another potential advantage is the effect it may have on thestudents' personal development. School uniforms give children a sense of studentidentity and belonging to a particular school. Realizing this, students tend to workharder on their courses.
